Overview

Smart Money MTF extends the Smart Money V2 strategy by adding Higher Timeframe bias analysis. Instead of relying solely on the trading timeframe, it establishes directional bias from the 1h chart before looking for SMC setups on the 5m chart.

How It Works

HTF Bias Analysis

The strategy analyzes the 1h chart using EMA alignment, market structure, and momentum indicators to determine if the bias is BULLISH, BEARISH, or NEUTRAL.

Coinglass Bias Merge

If Coinglass data provides an external bias (from OI, LSR, Funding), it is merged with the internal HTF bias. External bias takes priority when it disagrees with NEUTRAL.

LTF Signal Generation

Smart Money V2 generates signals on the 5m chart, but only in the direction confirmed by the merged HTF bias.

This integrated approach replaces the previous wrapper pattern, eliminating overhead while maintaining identical behavior.
