Coinglass

Overview

VECTRA's Coinglass integration provides real-time access to on-chain derivatives data that is invisible to price-only analysis. This data reveals the positioning, leverage, and flow of the broader market — intelligence that institutional desks pay thousands per month to access.

How VECTRA Uses It

Long/Short Ratio (LSR)

Retail positioning bias

Contrarian signal when extreme

Funding Rate

Cost of holding positions

Funding Rate strategy trigger

Open Interest (OI)

Total leveraged positions

OI × Price divergence engine

OI × Price Divergence Engine

The most powerful analytical tool in VECTRA's Coinglass integration. It classifies the market state based on how Open Interest and Price are moving relative to each other:

OI Direction
Price Direction
Classification
Trading Implication

Rising

Rising

CONFIRM_BULL

New money entering longs — genuine bullish momentum

Rising

Falling

CONFIRM_BEAR

Shorts adding aggressively — genuine bearish pressure

Falling

Falling

LONG_LIQUIDATION

Longs being wiped out — cascade potential

Falling

Rising

SHORT_SQUEEZE

Shorts covering — squeeze potential

Each classification produces a confidence modifier (0.88x to 1.15x) applied to the signal.

Multi-Timeframe OI Conflict

When 1h and 4h OI trends disagree, a small penalty (×0.96) is applied to flag the uncertain transition state.

CG-Aware Trailing System

Beyond signal generation, Coinglass data feeds directly into the Smart CG Trailing Stop system:

  • Liquidation levels inform dynamic SL/TP adjustment

  • Whale activity triggers tighter trailing in LOCKED phase

  • OI divergence can trigger early exit signals

  • Funding rate changes are monitored for position health
