Settings Panel

Configure VECTRA using the built-in Settings Panel - no manual file editing required.

Accessing Settings

Click the ⚙️ gear icon next to the START/STOP buttons to open the Settings Panel.

Settings Tabs

The Settings Panel has 5 tabs:

Tab	Purpose
🏦 Exchange	Wallet, private key, API credentials
🤖 Ectra AI	Anthropic API key for AI features
📱 Telegram	Notification bot setup
🔑 License	License key activation
⚙️ Advanced	Auto-start, logging, backup

Exchange Tab

Configure your Hyperliquid connection.

Wallet Configuration

Field	Description	Required
Wallet Address	Your Ethereum wallet (0x...)	✅ Yes
Private Key	Wallet private key for signing	✅ Yes

API Credentials (Optional)

API Key	Hyperliquid API key	❌ Optional

Network Mode

Option	Description
✅ Testnet	Paper trading - no real money
❌ Mainnet	Live trading - real funds

✅ Recommendation: Start with Testnet enabled until you're comfortable with VECTRA.

Ectra AI Tab

Enable AI-powered features.

Getting Your API Key

1. Visit console.anthropic.com

2. Create an account or sign in

3. Navigate to API Keys

4. Click Create Key

5. Copy the key (starts with sk-ant-...)

6. Paste into the Settings Panel

Telegram Tab

Receive trade notifications on your phone.

Setup Steps

1. Create a Bot:

• Open Telegram, search for @BotFather

• Send /newbot

• Follow prompts to name your bot

• Copy the Bot Token

2. Get Your Chat ID:

• Search for @userinfobot

• Start a chat

• Copy your Chat ID

3. Configure VECTRA:

• Paste Bot Token

• Paste Chat ID

• Enable notifications

• Click Test to verify

Notification Types

Notification	Description
Trade Opened	Alert when position opens
Trade Closed	Alert with P&L when closed
Errors	System error alerts
Daily Summary	End-of-day performance

License Tab

Activate your VECTRA license.

Activation Steps

1. Enter your license key

2. Click Validate License

3. Status will show Valid if successful

Getting a License

Contact the admin with your Hardware ID displayed in the activation dialog.

Advanced Tab

Additional settings and data management.

Startup Options

Option	Description
Auto-start	Begin trading on app launch
Minimize to tray	Minimize to system tray

Logging

Option	Description
Verbose logging	Enable detailed debug logs
Save trade log	Save trades to file

Data Management

Action	Description
Export Settings	Backup your configuration
Import Settings	Restore from backup
Reset All	Clear all settings

Saving Settings

After configuring:

1. Review all tabs

2. Click 💾 Save Settings

3. Settings are saved to .env file

4. Some changes require restart

🔒 Security: Your credentials are stored locally and never transmitted. Keep your .env file secure.

Configuration Status

The header shows your configuration status:

Status	Meaning
🟢 Configured	Ready to trade
🟡 Partial	Some fields missing
🔴 Not Configured	Credentials needed
